Plan B (1992). The first offering in the iconic Plan B “fourology,” the release of Questionable Video promptly set the skateboard community on its ear while screaming, “change!” into the other. In the age of cut-down high tops and late shove-its, the hellish Plan B roster (brought together by visonary Mike Ternasky) rose above the transitional feel of the era by pioneering today’s tech +handrail methodologies.

Shot lovingly with shouldered VHS dinosaurs and screw-on fish-eyes, Questionable is an undoubtedly raw, homegrown, and pure skateboarding video that not only reflects a major turning point in skateboarding’s evolution, but illuminates the path the the sport will follow over the next decade.

A documentary by Aaron Russo, America: Freedom to Fascism covers topics such as the unconstitutionality of the Federal income tax and the Federal Reserve System itself as well as the alleged terrorism carried out by the government in an attempt to abate the civil rights of its citizens.

A series of films written and directed by Dylan Avery, and produced by Korey Rowe, Jason Bermas and Matthew Brown. The latest edition is narrated by Daniel Sunjata, and exclusively distributed by Microcinema International. The films argue that the September 11, 2001 attacks were planned and conducted by elements within the United States government, and base the claims on perceived anomalies in the historical record of the attacks.

One of the best ad campaigns was for Miller High Life created by Errol Morris. The premise of the campaign was centered around the idea that real men are simple, work hard and drink beer. The High Life man made his television debut in 1998 and sadly was retired in 2005.

Enjoi (2006). The video opens with a Surgeon General’s Warning against smoking, for undisclosed reasons. A title scene ensues with hands holding the titles in picture frames, making for an interesting opening scene, with a montage of goings-on during the filming of the video. Caswell Berry starts off the video with his part, including hundreds of lines, bails, and city skate scenes.

Jerry Hsu’s part in the video won Transworld Skateboarding’s 2007 best video part award. It also won the best video from Transworld Skateboarding’s Awards.
